Carles Gil has made no secret of his respect for Lionel Messi, and the two No. 10s squared off once again this past Sunday night at Gillette Stadium in a pivotal match played in front of 54,112 fans in Foxborough. While it was Messi and Miami who came out on top in that particular matchup, Gil joined host DJ Bean on this week's episode of The Soccer Show to talk about the Revolution's performance in that match, as well as the team's mindset heading into Saturday's regular-season finale in Orlando and the upcoming Audi MLS Cup Playoffs.
Revolution play-by-play man Brad Feldman also joined the show to preview New England's potential playoff opponents, while his broadcast partner and CBS Sports analyst Charlie Davies offered his thoughts on the U.S. Men's National Team roster for the Concacaf Nations League Quarterfinals against Haiti.
