• Bruce Arena makes three changes to his starting lineup from Sunday’s match against the LA Galaxy. Forward Gustavo Bou makes his first start since July 16 in place of Justin Rennicks. Midfielders Maciel and Noel Buck start in place of Christian Makoun and Emmanuel Boateng, respectively. 
• Gustavo Bou makes his 11th start of the season and his first since July 16 at Philadelphia. The striker returned to action after a six-game injury absence with a 45-miute performance against the Galaxy on Sunday. Bou has scored three goals with one assist in six career meetings with Chicago.
• Fellow Designated Player and 2021 MLS MVP Carles Gil netted his sixth goal of the season in Sunday’s match, giving him 19 goal contributions on the year (T-8th in MLS). The 2022 MLS All-Star has reached the scoresheet in four of the last five games, with two goals and two assists. 
• Homegrown Player Noel Buck suits up for his first MLS start tonight. The 17-year-old midfielder from Arlington, Mass. has appeared in three of the last four matches, including a 25-minute shift off the bench on Sunday. 
• Matt Polster collects his 150th MLS appearance tonight, 82 of which came with Chicago over his first four professional seasons from 2015-18. 
• Tommy McNamara distributed his fifth assist of the season on Sunday, tied for third most on the team. McNamara has played in all but one game this season.
• Maciel posts his first start since August 6 at Orlando City SC. The Revolution II alum now owns 13 appearances this season, including four starts. 
• Goalkeeper Djordje Petrović carries a 4-4-6 record, including five clean sheets, into tonight’s match. The Serbian goalkeeper has led the Revolution to points in five of his six home starts, with a 2-1-3 mark at Gillette Stadium. 
• Henry Kessler scored the opening goal in New England’s most recent encounter with Chicago, a 3-2 win at Soldier Field on September 22, 2021. 
• Andrew Farrell makes his 298th regular season appearance, now two games away from becoming the first Revolution player to reach the 300 mark.
• Brandon Bye has six assists on the year, a career high and second most on the team behind Gil.
• DeJuan Jones owns one goal and five assists this season. The fourth-year outside back, who finished fifth in MLS Defender of the Year voting last season, is four games away from eclipsing 100 MLS appearances, all with New England.

• Omar Gonzalez has netted a team-high four career goals against Chicago in 11 games played, including two tallies in his last three games against the Fire. 
• Emmanuel Boateng surpassed 7,500 MLS minutes played in Sunday’s match. The midfielder has appeared in 22 matches this season, including eight starts. 
• Christian Makoun has played in four consecutive contests since being acquired from Charlotte FC at the beginning of August.
