Revolution fans were given the opportunity to decide this year's bobblehead giveaway via online vote, and it was no surprise that club captain and reigning MLS MVP Carles Gil was the clear winner. Gil's first-ever bobblehead will be available at all Gillette Stadium entry gates while supplies last, so arrive early on Wednesday night to make sure you secure your own Carles Gil bobblehead to take home.

RECENT FORM VS. CHICAGO FIRE FC
Wednesday night's clash will be the first of two meetings between the Revs and Fire through the regular season's last seven games, as New England will also visit Chicago in a Decision Day showdown at SeatGeek Stadium. Recent series history has heavily favored the Revs, who are unbeaten in six meetings with the Fire (3-0-3) since Bruce Arena took over as sporting director and head coach in early 2019.
Chicago put together an impressive run from mid-July through early August to rekindle playoff hopes, going 4-0-1 while conceding just three goals through a five-game stretch. Those postseason dreams have taken a hit in recent weeks, however, as the Fire have suffered three straight losses to the top three teams in the Eastern Conference - Philadelphia, NYCFC, and Montreal - all by multiple goals. Those results have dropped Chicago to 13th in the East, now six points back of a playoff place.
The Revs kicked off their three-game, weeklong homestand with a frustrating 2-1 loss to the LA Galaxy on Sunday night, conceding a pair of goals in the opening 15 minutes and seeing their late fightback fall short. The loss snapped what had been a nine-game home unbeaten run for the Revs, who are now two points back of sixth-place Inter Miami CF and seventh-place Columbus Crew in the crowded Eastern Conference. With seven games remaining the fifth-place and 12th-place teams in the East are separated by just seven points, leaving much still to be decided.
Four of the Revolution's last seven games will be in Foxborough, including two more this week with Wednesday night's meeting with the Fire followed up by a Sunday evening clash with defending champs New York City FC.

The Revs will be sporting their primary kit, “The Liberty.” The bespoke pattern is inspired by Boston’s Freedom Trail, a walking trail through the heart of Boston which passes 16 historical sites from the American Revolution – which gives a nod to the club name. This sleek new look will be paired with blue shorts, conveying a defiant, bold and strong look.
The club is reverting to blue shorts for the first time since 2013 to complement “The Liberty”. This is to convey a bold and strong one-color look, in-keeping with the New England’s defiant spirit while also enabling the new logo the chance to shine in its first time on a kit.
