FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – New England Revolution players will report to the Socios.com Training Center in Foxborough, Mass. on Monday, January 10 and begin preseason training on Wednesday, Jan. 12 as the club prepares for the start of 2022 Scotiabank Concacaf Champions League and 2022 MLS Regular Season action in February.
After opening preseason training at the Socios.com Training Center in Foxborough, the Revolution are scheduled to visit Los Angeles, Calif. for more than two weeks of training at Dignity Health Sports Park from Jan. 25 through Feb. 9. The Revolution will play a pair of friendly matches while in California, opening their preseason slate against Los Angeles FC at Banc of California Stadium on Jan. 29 (3:00 p.m. ET) before facing the LA Galaxy on Saturday, Feb. 5 at Dignity Health Sports Park (10:00 p.m. ET). Travel plans and friendly matches are subject to change.
From the first training session on Jan. 12, the Revolution will have five weeks to prepare for the club’s opening match in the 2022 Scotiabank Concacaf Champions League Round of 16 on Tuesday, Feb. 15 against Haitian club Cavaly AS. The Revolution will host the second leg of the series on Tuesday, Feb. 22. The 34-game 2022 MLS Regular Season is then slated to begin on Saturday, February 26 at Portland (7:30 p.m. ET), with New England’s home opener scheduled for Saturday, March 5 vs. FC Dallas (1:30 p.m. ET).
