RECENT FORM VS. CHICAGO FIRE FC
This will be the third and final meeting between the Revs and Fire this season, with Chicago claiming victory in both previous matchups - 3-1 in the U.S. Open Cup on May 20, and 3-2 in the regular season on September 6. That most recent loss snapped the Revolution's 12-game league unbeaten run in this series (4-0-8) which dated all the way back to 2019, while these teams have played to five consecutive draws in the last five meetings at Gillette Stadium.
The Revs (9-16-8, 35 pts.) are guaranteed an 11th-place finish in the Eastern Conference, regardless of results on Decision Day. They'll be looking to bounce back from their recent 4-1 loss to Inter Miami CF, though they did get a second goal in as many games from forward Dor Turgeman, who also had one goal and one assist in the Revolution's 2-0 win over Atlanta United FC last time out at Gillette Stadium.
Chicago (15-11-7, 52 pts.) have already clinched a return to the playoffs for the first time since 2017, but they'll be battling for critical playoff positioning on Decision Day. Currently occupying eighth place in the East, the Fire could climb out of the Wild Card Game entirely, host the Wild Card Game, or go on the road for the Wild Card Game depending on results around them in the table. Gregg Berhalter's side has put itself in an advantageous position with a strong finish to the season, going 3-0-1 in their last four matches.
Overall Record vs. Fire: 34-39-22
Home Record vs. Fire: 25-13-9
Last meeting at Gillette Stadium: Revs 1, Fire 1 (March 23, 2024)
Last meeting at SeatGeek Stadium: Fire 3, Revs 2 (September 6, 2025)

SHOW YOUR COLORS
Saturday night the Revs will wear "The '96" kit, unveiled in July as part of the adidas x MLS Archive Collection. Celebrating the style and aesthetic of the late '90s and early 2000s, the Revs are one of 10 MLS clubs featuring new third kits, styled with a matching jacket and Gazelle shoes.
An unapologetic tribute to the club's start in the '90s, "The '96" kit revives the team's original wordmark, bold colors, and front-facing numbers on the pitch. The jersey is primarily Bright Red and features a gradient pattern that invokes the '96 jerseys with a contemporary flair. The retro Revolution wordmark is emblazoned on the shirt's front, while the back features the original MLS logo and "Gillette", the Revolution's primary jersey sponsor since 2025.
The shirts will be paired with Bright Red socks, while the shorts, shirt details, and numerals utilize a refreshed shade of Night Sky Blue.
The entire Archive Collection is currently available for purchase HERE.
