FIGHT CHILDHOOD CANCER MATCH

Throughout the month of September, MLS clubs are helping to #KickChildhoodCancer by recognizing children fighting cancer, as well as the local organizations working to find a cure. The Revs will host their annual Fight Childhood Cancer Match on Saturday night and will show their support in the following ways at Gillette Stadium:

Gameplay will feature gold nets, commemorative gold adidas Nativo match balls, and corner flags
Revolution captain Carles Gil will sport a special gold armband
Players will wear #KickChildhoodCancer training tops during pregame warmups, with each top featuring the name of a local pediatric cancer patient from Boston Children's Hospital
Revolution game jerseys will feature a gold ribbon patch
Boston Children's Hospital Dream Team will host patients and their families in suites at the match
Maddie's Promise will have tabling on the Gillette Stadium concourse, presented by Santander

As part of the Continental KCC Challenge, fans also have the opportunity to donate to a local KCC charity on behalf of their favorite MLS club. Revolution fans can visit TheContinentalKCCChallenge.com to donate to the club's local beneficiary, Binkeez for Comfort, with Continental Tire matching each donation up to $50,000.

A Kick Childhood Cancer auction featuring game-used, autographed jerseys from matches played in September will also provide an additional fundraising opportunity from October 31 through November 14.

PABLOVE "SHUTTERBUGS"

The Revs have teamed up with the Pablove Foundation for the first time, providing three local pediatric cancer survivors with an all-access experience at a recent Revolution training session at the club's Socios.com Training Center. Massachusetts natives Eleanor (8), Chloe (12), and Doriana (18) are participants in Pablove's "Shutterbugs" healing arts program, a six-week course that helps childhood cancer patients find a creative outlet through photography. The foundation is named after Pablo, a little boy who lost his fight with cancer, and the program serves kids with cancer and survivors both in New England and across the U.S.

All three artists tested their photography skills at the Revolution's training session on August 24, and those photographs will now be printed on glass and displayed for sale at the Pablove Shutterbugs' Gallery located on the Gillette Stadium concourse on Saturday night, with proceeds directly funding the Pablove Foundation's pediatric cancer research grants.

DRIVE SERIES PRESENTED BY DAN O'BRIEN AUTOMOTIVE GROUP

Saturday night's Drive Series presented by Dan O'Brien Automotive Group will feature a special Kick Childhood Cancer collection, as the club will collect birthday party supplies on behalf of the Confetti Foundation. All supplies will be used by the Confetti Foundation to provide birthday parties for children spending their special day in hospitals or pediatric oncology clinics.

Collections will begin at 5:30 p.m. and end 15 minutes after kickoff (approximately 7:45 p.m.), with collection locations at the CVS Health Gate, the Ticketmaster Gate, and between the E1 and E2 entrances. Everyone who makes a donation will receive a Revolution keychain courtesy of the New England Revolution Foundation and Dan O'Brien Automotive Group.

RECENT FORM VS. CF MONTRÉAL

This will be the second meeting between the Revs and CF Montréal in less than a month, as the sides squared off at Stade Saputo on August 20, when the hosts rolled to a 4-0 victory. That snapped a string of six straight wins for the Revolution in the series, although they have still won the last three meetings at Gillette Stadium, including a dramatic playoff encounter in 2020 when Gustavo Bou scored the game winner deep into second-half stoppage time.

Montréal will be back in the postseason for the first time since that 2020 season as they've already locked up a playoff spot, firmly in second place in the Eastern Conference with just three games remaining. They've been rolling since the start of August, going 6-1-2 in their last nine games while scoring 22 goals during that span to average 2.44 goals per game. Wilfried Nancy's side has been particularly good away from home, having won five straight road games and boasting the league's second-best road record at 9-4-2.

The Revs wrapped up a disappointing road trip with a 3-1 loss to Houston Dynamo FC on Tuesday night, dropping to 1-4-1 in their last six games and sinking to ninth in the East, three points back of the final playoff spot and with the four teams directly in front of them all holding at least one game in hand. They'll be home for two of their final three games, beginning on Saturday night against Montréal before a two-week break ahead of their regular-season home finale against Atlanta United FC on October 1.

A strong crowd is expected at Gillette Stadium on Saturday night, when the Revs will be aiming to get back to winning ways and keep their playoff hopes alive in 2022.
