RECENT FORM VS. PHILADELPHIA UNION
New England and Philadelphia met a little more than one month ago at Gillette Stadium, where the teams traded goals just one minute apart in the 75th (Gustavo Bou) and 76th (Mikael Uhre) minutes to finish in a 1-1 draw. Since the start of last season the Revs are 2-0-2 against the Union, including one win and one draw at Subaru Park. Including their playoff win in 2020 the Revs are 2-0-1 on their last three visits to Philadelphia, snapping a string of seven straight losses in the City of Brotherly Love.
A midweek trip to visit Inter Miami CF is on the cards for Philadelphia, which matched the largest margin of victory in MLS history last weekend with a 7-0 win over D.C. United. Julián Carranza (3), Alejandro Bedoya (2), and Uhre (2) all scored multiple goals as the Union improved to 5-0-5 at Subaru Park, one of just two teams in MLS - along with Real Salt Lake - to remain unbeaten at home this season. All told the Union have lost just twice through 19 games, while every other team in the league has lost at least four times.
The Revs will be aiming for a return to winning ways after seeing their 10-game unbeaten run snapped last weekend in a somewhat bizarre 4-2 loss to New York City FC. New England became the first team in MLS history to be whistled for three penalties in a single game - all in the first half - and the visitors also had Andrew Farrell sent off before the halftime break. Still the Revs were in with a shout until the late stages, as Bou scored twice more to bring his tally to six goals in the last seven games.
It's a big time Eastern Conference showdown with the last two Supporters' Shield winners squaring off at Subaru Park, as the Revs aim to climb back above the playoff line against one of the league's premier teams.

The Revs will be sporting their sleek secondary kits, which take inspiration from the block work of American Revolution Era war forts in the New England area. This kit also pays homage to The Fort - the club's dedicated supporters' sections at Gillette Stadium - and features a fort-inspired blocked white shirt with a monochromatic Revolution logo, white shorts, and sky-blue socks.
