TEAM NOTES
- Tuesday is the 94th all-time meeting between New England and Chicago, including the fourth encounter between the two sides in U.S. Open Cup play. The teams last met in tournament play in the 2016 Semifinals, a 3-1 victory at home for New England.
- The Revolution will play their 49th match in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup, looking to improve upon a 24-19-5 all-time record in the domestic cup competition.
- The Revolution have played in Rhode Island on three previous occasions, winning a pair of Open Cup matches as the home team in 2014 (at Brown University) and 2017 (at Providence College) along with a victory at Rhode Island FC on May 7, 2025.

- M Allan Oyirwoth, an 18-year-old with Uganda Men's National Team experience, makes his second start with the first team.
- 17-year-old D Damario McIntosh makes his first team debut after signing a Homegrown Player contract in January. The Revolution Academy product has started five of his six appearances in MLS NEXT Pro with Revolution II this season.
- D Wyatt Omsberg records his second Revolution start across all competitions, playing against his former club in Chicago, with which he scored one goal in six Open Cup appearances.

- Chicago defender Omar Gonzalez spent two seasons with New England from 2022-23, making 32 regular season appearances.
- Revolution forward Maxi Urruti and Chicago midfielder Kelyn Acosta were teammates at FC Dallas from 2016-18, lifting the 2016 U.S. Open Cup crown.
- Urruti was teammates with Chicago Assistant Coach Hector Jimenez at Austin FC from 2022-23.
