FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Revolution’s home match on Sunday, June 19 vs. Minnesota United FC will kick off at 5:00 p.m. ET at Gillette Stadium, rescheduled from its original time of 8:00 p.m.. The match airs locally on WSBK-TV38 and myRITV in Rhode Island. CBS Boston’s pregame coverage begins at 4:30 p.m. ET with “Revolution Kickoff” on TV38.
On Sunday, the Revolution will commemorate the Juneteenth holiday as the club highlights members of the local Black community, grassroots organizations, and social justice leaders. Nicole Jacob, a board member with the North Shore Juneteenth Association, will be the club’s Hero of the Match. “Lift Every Voice and Sing” will be performed prior to kickoff by BAMS Fest artist Kasia Lavon, and all 28 clubs will wear Juneteenth-inspired numbers and warm-up tops as part of a league-wide recognition in partnership with Black Players for Change (BPC). The special edition jerseys will be auctioned to benefit Man Up of Rhode Island, which provides a broad range of unique workforce development and higher educational opportunities, resources, and support services for formerly incarcerated men of color.
In addition, this Sunday will mark the final Revolution match for goalkeeper Matt Turner, who will soon join Arsenal FC of the English Premier League.
The Revolution will look to extend their six-game unbeaten streak this Wednesday, June 15 against Orlando City SC on Pride Night at Gillette Stadium. The contest kicks off at 7:30 p.m. ET on WSBK-TV38, myRITV, CoziTV, 98.5 The Sports Hub, SiriusXM FC (Ch. 157), and 1260 AM Nossa Radio.
