FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Revolution host New York City FC tonight for an 8:00 p.m. ET kickoff at Gillette Stadium. The match off airs locally on WSBK-TV38 and myRITV, with Brad Feldman, Charlie Davies, and Tamara Brown calling the action. Tonight’s contest also airs locally on the radio via 98.5 The Sports Hub and 1260 AM Nossa Radio USA in Portuguese. Following the match, Gillette Stadium will host a postgame firework show for fans in attendance.

  • Bruce Arena makes one change to his Starting XI from Wednesday’s 0-0 draw against Chicago Fire FC, with defender Jon Bell starting in place of Brandon Bye
  • Goalkeeper Djordje Petrović collected his sixth clean sheet on Wednesday, his third in the last four home games. 
  • Homegrown Player Noel Buck features in the Starting XI for the second straight match. The 17-year-old from Arlington, Mass. is the youngest player to start consecutive games in a Revolution uniform since Diego Fagundez (2011). Buck played 80 minutes on Wednesday night, a career high, and has appeared in five of the last six games. 
  • 2021 MLS MVP Carles Gil has found the scoresheet in four of the last six games, with two goals and two assists during that span. Gil has distributed five assists in as many regular season games against New York City FC. 
  • Gustavo Bou suits up for his third consecutive match after returning from a leg injury. The Argentinian has netted four goals with one assist in seven regular season games against NYCFC.
  • Tommy McNamara spent four seasons at New York City FC, featuring for the Bronx Blues from 2015-18. With five more games to play, the midfielder is four starts away from 150 in MLS.
  • Matt Polster suits up for his 24th appearance of the season, including 20 starts. Polster registered his 150th MLS regular season appearance on Wednesday. 
  • Maciel remains in the starting lineup for the second straight match. The Revolution have logged points in 10 of the 13 games in which Maciel has played this season, with a 5-3-5 record.
  • New York City native Henry Kessler makes his 60th MLS start tonight, his 16th of the season.
  • Andrew Farrell makes his 299th regular season appearance, and with his next outing, will become the first player to reach 300 MLS games played in a Revolution uniform.  
  • DeJuan Jones makes his 28th start of the season, one away from matching his career high (29) set in 2021. Jones has logged five assists this season, tied with McNamara for third most on the team behind Brandon Bye (6) and Gil (13).  
  • Jon Bell netted his first MLS goal against New York City FC in a 3-2 victory on June 19, 2021.

  • Rennicks, from South Hamilton, Mass., has started 10 of his 14 games played this season. 
  • Bajraktarevic has appeared in three of the last four matches. 
  • Christian Makoun has featured in four games since joining the club as one of its newest additions via trade with Charlotte FC in August.
