BRIDGEVIEW, Illinois – The New England Revolution conclude the 2022 MLS season this afternoon when the club visits Chicago Fire FC at SeatGeek Stadium. The MLS Decision Day match kicks off at 2:30 p.m. ET and airs on WSBK-TV38, myRITV (Rhode Island), and 98.5 The Sports Hub HD2 with Brad Feldman and Charlie Davies calling the action. The contest also airs on 1260 AM Nossa Radio in Portuguese.

• Bruce Arena makes two changes to the Revolution Starting XI from last Saturday’s 2-1 win over Atlanta United FC, with defender DeJuan Jones and midfielder Wilfrid Kaptoum starting in place of Ryan Spaulding and Matt Polster (lower leg). 
• Forward Giacomo Vrioni netted his first MLS goal in his first MLS start, scoring from the penalty spot in last weekend’s victory. Vrioni logs his fifth consecutive appearance to close out his debut season.
• Nacho Gil also made his first MLS start last Saturday and makes his second consecutive start alongside older brother Carles Gil in the midfield. The Gil brothers are the first sibling to start a match together in Revolution history. 
• Carles Gil enters the final weekend of the MLS season as the league leader in chances created (111) and fouls won (85). With one assist in today’s match, the two-time MLS Best XI selection will become the first Revolution player to distribute 15 assists in back-to-back seasons, and only the fourth MLS player to do so since 2000.
• Gustavo Bou (8) holds a one-goal lead over Carles Gil (7) in the Revolution’s Golden Boot Race. Bou, who netted the game winner in the 85th minute last Saturday, leads New England’s attack with three career goals scored in seven games played against Chicago.  
• Djordje Petrović celebrated his 23rd birthday yesterday, one day after signing a multi-year contract extension with New England. The Serbian goalkeeper owns seven clean sheets in 20 games started in his debut MLS season. 
• Petrović (75.5%) enters the finale looking to become the third Revolution goalkeeper to finish a season with a save percentage of 75.0 or better (min. 40 saves), joining Matt Reis (2009 – 81.4 and 2006 – 77.5) and Matt Turner (2021 – 75.6)
• DeJuan Jones returns to the starting lineup and collects his 100th MLS regular season appearance today. The outside back’s seven assists this season are a new career high and second most on the team. 
• Brandon Bye (6) has started all 29 of his appearances this season, one shy of tying his career high (2019), and ranks fourth on the team in minutes played (2,475). 
• Today marks Andrew Farrell’s 25th career start against Chicago in MLS regular season play. 
• Henry Kessler suits up for his 22nd appearance of the season. The 24-year-old concludes his third professional season with 65 career MLS starts.
• Tommy McNamara closes the 2022 season with 30 starts, a career high for the ninth-year midfielder. If he plays 84 minutes today, McNamara (12,907) will eclipse 13,000 career minutes played.
• Wilfrid Kaptoum appears in his fifth consecutive match and is in the Starting XI for the first time since Sept. 13 at Houston.

• GK Brad Knighton, finishing his club-record 12th season with New England, dresses for the first time since July 23 at Columbus. 
• Dylan Borrero distributed an assist, his second in MLS, on Gustavo Bou’s game-winning goal in last Saturday’s win over Atlanta United FC. 
• Christian Makoun recorded his 50th MLS appearance last weekend. The 22-year-old Venezuelan international has played in seven contests, three of them starts, since joining the Revolution from Charlotte FC in August. 
• Justin Rennicks set new career highs this season in games played (17), games started (11) and goals scored (2). Rennicks has appeared in four of the last six games. 
• Emmanuel Boateng is one appearance shy of his 40th in a Revolution uniform. With a seven-minute performance in today’s match, Boateng will eclipse 1,000 minutes played on the season.
