- Bruce Arena, who owns a 7-2-3 career record vs. CF Montréal, deploys four changes to his Starting XI from Wednesday’s draw vs. Toronto FC, as Esmir Bajraktarevic, Jon Bell, A.J. DeLaGarza, and Matt Polster start in place of Emmanuel Boateng, Omar Gonzalez, Wilfrid Kaptoum, and Christian Makoun.
- Homegrown midfielder Esmir Bajraktarevic makes his first MLS start tonight. The 17-year-old winger played 22 minutes in his league debut on Wednesday night in Toronto.
- Justin Rennicks makes his fifth consecutive start and his ninth of the season. The Homegrown Player from South Hamilton, Mass. netted his second goal of the 2022 campaign in Wednesday’s draw at Toronto FC.
- Tommy McNamara makes his 200th MLS appearance tonight and has reached the scoresheet in three consecutive matches. The midfielder leads the Revs with a team-high three assists in 12 career appearances vs. CF Montréal.
- Tonight marks midfielder Matt Polster’s 125th MLS start. Polster is now two appearances away from his 150th in league play.
- Carles Gil has distributed 13 assists this season, one behind the MLS lead. The 2022 MLS All-Star and reigning league MVP could become the second player to lead MLS in assists in consecutive seasons (Sacha Kljestan - 2016-17).
- Djordje Petrović makes his 13th MLS start and looks to improve upon his 1.08 GAA (4th in MLS) and 79.0 save percentage (2nd - min. 30 saves). Petrović owns a 4-2-6 record with five clean sheets.
- DeJuan Jones makes his 25th start of the season and owns five assists in 2022.
- Jon Bell returns to the starting lineup for the first time since July 16 vs. Philadelphia Union.
- Andrew Farrell makes his 24th start of the season, joining Bell in central defense. Farrell is now four appearances away from his 300th MLS appearance.
- Brandon Bye currently owns six assists on the season, tied for third among defenders in MLS this season.
- A.J. DeLaGarza makes his first start since June 26, where he logged 66 minutes in a 0-0 draw with Vancouver.
