CURRENT FORM

New England Revolution
9th in Eastern Conference (2-3-0, 6 pts.)
Last Result | 3-0 win vs. CF Montréal

The Revolution have found both of their wins this season at home in Foxborough. Two-for-two in front of the home crowd, Saturday’s match against D.C. United is one of two remaining home games this month, which feels promising for New England. The Revs haven’t simply found victory at home this season, but put on statement performances in a 6-1 win over FC Cincinnati and a 3-0 result against CF Montréal.

With 11 goals in five games – nine of them at home – the Revs seem to have unlocked a new level of their attack under Marko Mitrović. Last weekend also brought their first clean sheet of the season, a defensive step forward that they’ll aim to build upon as they look to collect points not only at home, but on the road, as well. New England host D.C. carrying a growing confidence at Gillette Stadium, with an opportunity to climb the standings with a game in hand.

D.C. United
8th in Eastern Conference (2-3-1, 7 pts.)
Last Result | 4-0 loss vs. FC Dallas

D.C. sit right above New England in the Eastern Conference standings after playing six games to the Revolution’s five. On the road, D.C. have gone 1-1-1, but visit the Revolution on the tail of repeated home wins at Gillette Stadium. In their last outing, D.C. United took a heavy loss against FC Dallas, falling 4-0 at Audi Field.

While D.C. have managed to pick up a mixed bag of results, they have only scored four goals this season. They’ve put up two shutout defensive performances, but haven’t managed consistency, with a -4 goal differential. Historically, D.C. have maintained a very even record with the Revolution through their 100 meetings in all competitions, going 42-41-17 all-time against New England.

KEY PLAYERS

Revolution defender/winger Peyton Miller
After suffering an early-season injury, Peyton Miller has appeared in just three games for the Revolution so far in 2026, but in his 48 minutes of play, the 18-year-old has scored two goals and leads the Revs’ tally alongside Brayan Ceballos. Miller returned to the pitch in the Revolution’s 6-1 win over FC Cincinnati in March and immediately made an impact, scoring a goal in just three minutes on the field. Miller found the net again at Gillette Stadium in the Revs’ most recent outing against CF Montréal.

With experience playing under Mitrović on the United States U-20 National Team, it’s clear that Miller is feeling comfortable under his leadership again. Typically appearing as a left back for the Revolution, Mitrović has played Miller in a more attacking role on the wing in recent games. In front of the home crowd again on Saturday, Miller will look to put on another show in front of the fans in Foxborough.

D.C. United midfielder Gabriel Pirani
Last season, Gabriel Pirani had D.C. United’s second-most goal contributions with seven goals and four assists. The midfielder has appeared in all six games for D.C. so far this season, logging five starts.

While Pirani has yet to get on the scoreboard for D.C. this season, his opportunity could come on Saturday night. With starting striker Tai Baribo subbed off with an injury in D.C.’s last match against FC Dallas, Pirani could be expected to pick up some attacking responsibility as D.C. visits Gillette Stadium.

HEAR FROM THE REVS

Head coach Marko Mitrović on what he expects from D.C. United:
"[D.C. United] is a very tough team to play against. Besides their last game [4-0 loss vs. FC Dallas], where things just didn’t go their way. They’re a very tough opponent in every game that they play. We expect a very difficult [game]. They have a clear identity of what they want to do on the field. I would say they are, in one way, predictable in their behavior. But being predictable can always be a strength for the team because habitually they are doing things that they are doing. I really expect a very demanding game.”

Midfielder Alhassan Yusuf on carrying momentum from last weekend’s win into the next two matches of the homestand:
"It's important to keep your head up and not get carried away. Those are the important things. [We] will keep working hard in training and just keep winning."

Winger Luca Langoni on the importance of collecting points during the upcoming home-heavy stretch:
"It's important. We need to work hard during the week and build the right mentality, but our goal is to win games, improve on the areas we need to improve on, and continue to play well."
