RECENT FORM VS. INTER MIAMI CF
The Revs scored the opening goal in both meetings with Inter Miami CF last season, but ultimately fell on both occasions, suffering a 4-1 loss in front of a club record crowd of 65,612 at Gillette Stadium and a 6-2 setback in the season finale at Chase Stadium. Prior to their home loss last April, the Revs had won the previous two meetings with Miami in Foxborough, claiming home triumphs in both 2022 and 2023.
New England (6-7-6, 24 pts.) looks for a return to winning ways on Wednesday night after this past weekend's 2-1 loss in Portland saw the Revs slip to 0-3-1 since the start of June. Luca Langoni scored his first goal of the season as Carles Gil made it 14 goal contributions (7 G, 7 A) in the last 15 games with another assist, but a pair of Timbers goals either side of halftime meant the Revolution's club record seven-game road unbeaten run (4-0-3) ended at Providence Park.
Miami (9-3-5, 32 pts.) returned from a monthlong hiatus from league play this past weekend, Lionel Messi registering two goals and one assist in the visitors' comfortable 4-1 win over CF Montréal at Stade Saputo. Javier Mascherano's side spent the month of June participating in the FIFA Club World Cup, becoming the first MLS team to advance to the competition's knockout rounds before falling to UEFA Champions League winners Paris Saint-Germain, 4-0, in the Round of 16. Dating back to May, Miami are now 3-0-1 in their last four league games with 16 goals scored in that span, scoring at least three goals in each match.
The Revolution's hectic summer stretch of five games in 15 days will continue over the weekend, when they'll make their first-ever visit to Q2 Stadium for a showdown with Austin FC on Saturday night.
Overall Record vs. Inter Miami CF: 3-5-0

Last meeting at Gillette Stadium: Miami 4, Revs 1 (April 27, 2024)

Wednesday night the Revs will be wearing the "Boston Tea Party" kit, which will serve as the club's primary uniform once again in 2025.
Inspired by Boston's proud history of positive defiance, the kit commemorates the recent 250th anniversary of the Boston Tea Party in December 1773. The shirt design is highlighted by red and white vertical waves on the jersey's front, which represent the ripples in the Boston Harbor made by East India Training Company's tea creates as the American revolutionaries emptied 45 tons of tea into the water.
The navy jersey features red shoulders with three white stripes, a throwback to earlier Revolution jerseys, paired with navy shorts and navy socks, featuring red and white striping on top.
