Adam Buksa continued his dream start with the Poland National Team on Sunday evening, registering a hat trick in Poland's 7-1 win over San Marino in Group I of UEFA World Cup Qualifying. Buksa entered the match at halftime with Poland leading 4-0, then extended their lead to 5-1 with a 67th-minute header. The match looked likely to finish with that scoreline, but Buksa struck twice more in stoppage time to round out a memorable evening.

Buksa told media postgame that it was the first hat trick of his professional career, and the 25-year-old forward revealed that he'd been given the game ball as a keepsake.

Having scored the game winner in Poland's 4-1 victory over Albania this past Thursday - his senior debut - Buksa now has four goals in just 126 minutes of action at the international level, adding to the 10 goals he has scored this season with the New England Revolution, tied for 7th in MLS.

Poland's pair of wins to begin this round of qualifiers has them second in Group I with a record of 3-1-1 (10 pts.). They'll close this round on Wednesday, Sept. 8, with a home game against England, currently topping the group with a perfect 5-0-0 record for 15 points. Kickoff is slated for 2:45 p.m. ET with coverage on ESPN+.

Revolution teammates Matt Turner and Tajon Buchanan squared off later on Sunday night, as the United States and Canada played to a 1-1 draw at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tenn. Turner started and was credited with one save as his record with the USMNT moved to 7-0-2 with just two goals conceded, while Buchanan came off the bench in the second half and nearly created a winner for the Canadians.

Both the U.S. and Canada have taken two points from their first two Concacaf World Cup Qualifiers, and both will close this round with critical matches on Wednesday night. Turner and the U.S. will visit Honduras (10:35 p.m. ET, Paramount+), while Buchanan and Canada host El Salvador (7:30 p.m. ET, Paramount+).
