Tajon Buchanan and Matt Turner both helped their national teams lock up spots in the Concacaf Gold Cup Quarterfinals on Thursday night, and now the New England Revolution duo will battle it out for first place in Group B when Canada and the United States meet in the group finale on Sunday (July 18, 5 p.m. ET, FOX, TUDN).

Buchanan earned his second straight start to begin the competition and went 77 minutes in Canada's 4-1 win over Haiti, setting up Cyle Larin's game-winning goal early in the second half. The dynamic winger was once again a constant threat down the left side, and on Larin's winner he beat his man to the end-line before cutting back to his Canadian teammate. Buchanan also set up a pair of goals in Canada's 4-1 win over Martinique last weekend.

Turner also earned his second straight start in group play, making four saves in the USMNT's 6-1 romp over Martinique. Although he conceded his first goal at the international level - a second-half penalty kick from Emmanuel Rivière - Turner improved to 3-0-0 in a U.S. jersey with a goals against average of 0.33.

Thursday's results set up a fascinating group stage finale between Canada and the U.S. on Sunday, with first place in Group B on the line. Canada carry a slight edge by virtue of the goals scored tiebreaker (8-7), meaning they'd top the group with a win or draw, while the U.S. require a victory to claim first place. Coverage of that match - which will take place at a sold-out Children's Mercy Park in Kansas City - begins at 5 p.m. ET on Sunday (FOX, TUDN).
